Chinois delights
After visiting Pattaya's beaches and other attractions, it's time for a culinary tour. And what better way to start than by sampling superb Chinese food served in a number of restaurants. Among them are the following:

Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant
Montien Hotel Pattaya

The ideal place to take the family, friends or visitors for a great meal, it offers an excellent view of Pattaya Beach and is popular for its succulent seafood specialties. It also has a seating capacity of 100, with three private rooms that can accommodate up to 30 guests each.

Included in the menu are Cantonese, Szechuan and Shanghainese dishes. Don't forget to try the dim sum, shark's fin soup and the highly recommended Peking duck.

The dim sum set is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6-10 p.m. daily.

One of Pattaya's premier Chinese restaurants, it menu features a number of dishes served in clay pots that are guaranteed to enhance their aroma and flavor.

Besides the dim sum, check out the a la carte choices, like fillet of fish in soup with century eggs, braised sea cucumber with abalone and steamed crab with chicken oil. For every Bt1000 spent, guests are entitled to receive a complimentary voucher worth Bt150 that can be used during your next visit to the restaurant.

Open daily from noon to 10 p.m.
